Srinagar, April 05 (KNB): The family of the senior separatist leader Mukhtar Ahmad Waza on Thursday said due to the continuous detention of Waza his health has further deteriorated, adding, the incarcerated leader is already facing several aliments.
One of the family members while talking to Kashmir News Bureau (KNB) stated “Whenever a minor incident is reported anywhere in Kashmir, the police spare no time to raid our home aimed to arrest Mukhtar Waza.”
He said Waza is currently lodged in Sadar Police Station Anantnag wherein his health has further deteriorated due to the lack of proper cure.
The family demanding his immediate release said the continuous and repeated detentions of Waza has put his life in grave risk.
The family further appealed Human Rights Organization to take notice of the repeated ‘illegal’ arrest of Waza which is causing a major threat to his life adding that his absence from the family is putting whole family under distress. (KNB)
