Mother is suffering from illness, son detained by Force at Dialgam Anantnag

Anantnag 07 April (KNB): Two youth who were detained by army yesterday at Dialgam Anantnag are still in police custody, after families were assured by police official yesterday  to release them in  evening.

Sources told to KNB that among these two arrested  youth the  mother of one youth  is suffering from illness in form of  chest disease and is using oxygen for breathing.

Umar Manzoor s/o Manzoor Ahmad Najar resident of Pethbug dialgam is one among two who was detained by army yesterday at Dialgam following the heavy stone pelting on Army CEO Vehicles.

Locals informed to KNB that Umar was inside his home and was providing oxygen to his mother who is suffering from illness (chest pain) and army barged into his home and detained him there.

The incident occurred when army CEO was on way from Anantnag to larkipora after he reached at Dialgam the army CEO faced heavy stone pelting in area. They  stopped and came out from vehicles and chased protesters as the  protesters ran away towards umar’s house   the army barged to his house and they found their only Umar,  detained him who was at that time helping her mother with  oxygen , locals added.

Umar is perusing M.sc Mathematics from Kashmir University in south campus. He is innocent and gentle, locals said.

Meanwhile a photo went viral on social media in which an elderly women pleads to police official to release their son.(KNB)
