Srinagar, Jan 09(KNB): Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Wednesday welcomed the resignation of Shah Faesal from civil administration.
Mirwaiz took to social media website Twitter to welcome Faesal’s resignation and said that he hoped his sentiment guides his choice of politics,“Welcome the stand to resign by @ShahFaesal to protest unabated killing of Kashmiris by GOI. Hope his outrage over killings and his sentiment that #KashmiriLivesMatter guide his choice of politics…”
Mirwaiz further hoped that his outrage gets reflected in representing his people’s collective choice, “gets reflected in representing his people’s collective deep driving desire of right to self-determination and their relentless struggle and sacrifice in achieving it – also the reason behind killings and repression on them by the state,”
Shah Faesal on Wednesday said that he resigned from Indian Administrative service to protest against unabated killings in Kashmir and lack of sincere reach out from the centre.
