Mir Tariq Set to Join Jammu Kashmir United Movement, May Contest Assembly Election from Baramulla

Baramulla 18 Aug(KNB): In a significant political development, Mir Tariq, a DPAP leader from Baramulla, is likely to join the Jammu Kashmir United Movement (JKUM) led by Ishfaq Jabbar.

Sources close to the development have confirmed that Tariq, who is currently associated with the Democratic Azad Party (DAP) and serves as the General Secretary of the party’s Baramulla district unit, will soon announce his decision to join the JKUM.

According to sources, Tariq is likely to contest the assembly election from Baramulla, a constituency.
