Tanmarg 31 Oct(KNB): A Policeman was shot dead by militant just two days after a similar attack on a cop in Srinagar.
According to reports reached to news agency KNB constable Ghulam Mohammad Dar was targeted by unidentified gunmen near his residence in Tangmarg village this evening.
The officer sustained injuries and was shifted to SDH Tangmarg where he succumbs to his injuries.
Security forces have cordoned off the entire area in a bid to apprehend the assailants.
Notably, just last Sunday, police officer Masoor Ahmad was shot and critically wounded by militants in Srinagar’s Eidgah area.(KNB)
