Bandipora 24 August (KNB): A militant hideout was busted by government forces on Tuesday in Nagmarg forest area of Aloosa in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Officials said that Army’s 26-Assam Rifles unit, on basis of specific intel, launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in the Nagmarg forest area and later busted a militant hideout.
As per officials, a huge cache of arms and ammunition including 10 UBGL rounds, two Chinese grenades and other incriminating material were recovered during the operation.
Officials said that a case has been registered under relevant sections of law and further investigation has also been initiated. (KNB)
