Srinagar, Feb 27(KNB): Journalists were barred from covering press conference called by Hurrriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in Srinagar on Wednesday.
As per the reports, scores of reporters, video journalists and camera men were not allowed by authorities to enter the Nigeen residence of Mirwaiz where the press conference was scheduled at 2:00pm.
Earlier, NIA raided the residence of Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman at Nigeen and also conducted the searches at the residence of JKLF Chief Muhammad Yasin Malik in Maisuma in Srinagar, following which a press conference was called by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.(KNB)
