Baramulla, April 7 (KNB): The Municipal Committee (MC) Pattan on Tuesday conducted a market checking drive in the main market area of Pattan to ensure compliance with environmental and public health regulations.
During the inspection, officials seized polythene bags and cigarettes from several दुकानों found violating norms.
The Executive Officer (EO) of MC Pattan advised shopkeepers to strictly refrain from the use and sale of banned polythene and tobacco products.
He emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment and urged traders to cooperate in making the town polythene-free.
Shopkeepers were also warned that strict action will be taken against violators in future drives.(KNB)
