New Delhi, Jan 27 (KNB): Major General Atul Kaushik, Sena Medal has been awarded the prestigious Vishist Seva medal on the eve of 69th Republic day.
He has made outstanding contributions to the operational and administrative aspect of high altitude warfare.
Pertinently, he is currently the commandant of High Altitude Warfare Institute at Gulmarg, Kashmir.
It is worth pointing out here that he is a highly decorated officer with Sena Medal, Chief of army commendation for gallantry thrice, wound medal for being a battle casualty while fighting militants and Sena Medal for leading Rashtriya Rifles Units at Sopore and Bandipora. (KNB)
