April 17: Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife Tahira Kashyap has been in the news of late following her fight with cancer. The star wife, who is all set to dive into her work again, will be seen donning the hat of a director with her upcoming film, ‘Sharma Ji Ki Beti’.
Reports were rife that the film will star Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Saiyami Kher in pivotal roles. However, according to the latest reports, Madhuri is no longer a part of the film.
Tahira and her team had reportedly approached the ‘Dhak Dhak Girl’ of Bollywood for a mother’s role in the film. Although Madhuri had not signed the dotted lines as yet, she had reportedly expressed eagerness in being part of the movie. However, she now has stepped back for reasons best known to her.
The makers of the film are yet to conclude on the casting part. They are still working on the creatives and after that they will start their production works. Sakshi Tanwar and Akarsh Khurana were also reportedly approached for important roles in the film.
