Baramulla 20 April(KNB): Top LeT Commander among two militants were killed in an ongoing encounter with security forces in Malwal Village of Tangmarg Baramulla district, Police official said.
According to official, the slain has been identified as Yousuf Kantroo who was involved in the killing of BDC Chairman Late Sardar Bhupinder Singh on 23 September 2020 in his native village Khag area of Budgam district.
“Case under FIR No. 79/20 was registered against Yousuf Kantroo in Police station Khag,” he said.
“BaramullaEncounterUpdate: 2nd militant also killed. Ops in progress. LeT cmdr Yousuf Kantroo had #killed BDC Chairman Late Sardar Bhupinder Singh on 23/9/20 in his own native place in Khag area. Case FIR No 79/20 was registered against militant Kantroo in PS Khag: IGP Kashmir said in a tweet.
