Pulwama 29 October (KNB): Residents of Lassipora are suffering due to non-appointment of permanent Block Development Officer (BDO) as well due to other vacant posts in Block Litter of district Pulwama.
Speaking to Kashmir News Bureau, Vice Chairman Block Development Council Sajad Raina said “Since 2018 the post of BDO is vacant also Junior Assistant, Assistant Accounts Officer have not been appointed yet, in fact we don’t even have a Programme Officer here”.
He added, “Not having a permanent BDO is directly having a drastic impact on the work culture here. I request the J&K Lieutenant Governor to appoint people at these vacant post so that the development of this area can be taken well care of”.
Further said that I’ve put forth this issue to the higher authority many times but had no positive response and here again I’m requesting the Lt Governor to look into this matter so that our block can take well-administered steps towards a better future. (KNB)
