KVIB job aspirants alleges discrimination

Srinagar, Aug 02 (KNB): The Kashmir Valley based job aspirants of Jammu & Kashmir Khadi & Village Industries Board (KVIB) for several posts have alleged discrimination by the Board authorities following the interview was conducted for only Jammu based candidates.

A group of KVIB aspirants Thursday visit the Kashmir News Bureau (KNB) office and alleged that the interview for the post of Jr. Assistant and Jr. Supervisor was not conducted despite the notification under No: KVIB/05 dated: 11/12/2017 was published in local media, adding, surprisingly only the interview of Jammu based aspirants was conducted with the reasons known to them only.

They said Competitive written test of KVIB was held from 10 to 13 August, 2017 subsequent to which KVIB published list of shortlisted candidates for interview vide notification KVIB/05 Dated 11.12.2017.

They said that conducting interviews only for the Jammu based candidates reflects the discriminating policy of KVIB official. They appealed Governor Administration to look into the matter.

Meanwhile when KNB contacted KVIB administrative officer Muhammad Saleem Reshi he said the entire selection process is under department enquiry. (KNB)
