Kulgam Police conducted Bag/Book distribution ceremony-cum-cultural programme at DPL, under “Civic Action Programme” (CAP).

Kulgam, 13th march 2019: Jammu and Kashmir Police, District Kulgam on the directions of Superintendent of Police Kulgam Mr. Gurvinderpal Singh-IPS organised a bag/books distribution ceremony for Specially-abled students & Cultural programme under its Civic Action Programme (CAP) in the memory of Shaheed Aman Kumar Thakur DySP JKP.

The effort was in the line of public outreach programme in which the students were given a chance to exhibit their talent by performing in cultural activities.

The Programme started with inaugural address by Additional Superintendent of Police Kulgam Mr Aijaz Ahmad-JKPS

The participants presented their piece of activity which echoed the DPL with ovations. local boys and girls of different schools presented songs, dance & drama items which were appreciated by all,the intention to organise such programmes is to give the youth a platform to explore their talent and and to bridge the gap between Police and Public in the large interest of Peace.

The programme concluded on the vote of thanks from DySP DAR Kulgam Mr Muzaffar Jan-JKPS and in the meanwhile more than ninety specially abled students were provided bags and books .Cash rewards, Presents, certificates and refreshment were distributed among the participants by CEO Kulgam Shri Mushtaq Ahmad and Shri Aijaz Ahmad-JKPS Addl.SP Kulgam, other officers of the District including DySP HQ Shri Shafat Mohammad , Shri Aashiq Hussain SDPO DH Pora Shri Surinder Verma DySP PC Manzgam and Shri Gowher Ali SHO Police Station Kulgam were also present on the occasion.
