Srinagar 6 May (KNB): Krafton on Thursday announced that the popular game PUBG will be launched soon in India as ‘Battleground Mobile India’, which is the most awaited mobile game of 2021.
Battlegrounds Mobile India will be launched in India as a free-to-play experience on mobile devices. The game will have a period of pre-registration ahead of the launch.
Gamers will be able to preregister for having the early experience of the game at release. As the name suggests, the game will be available to play only in India. The game will release with exclusive in-game events, outfits and features. It will have its own e-sports ecosystem with tournaments and leagues.
Krafton will collaborate with partners to build an e-sports ecosystem while bringing in-game content regularly, starting with a series of India specific in-game events at launch, which will be announced soon.
Moreover, Krafton claims to keep privacy and data security as its top priority. The developers will be working with partners, to ensure data protection and security, at each stage.
This will ensure secure data collection and privacy rights are respected in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in India and for players here.
Pertinent to mention that, Players Unknown Battle Ground (PUBG) mobile was in September 2020 for Indian users under Section 69A of Information Technology Act.
It was then announced by the company to roll out the custom made version of PUBG for Indian users. (KNB)
