Khalsa Aid confers Honesty Award on JKPM patron Javed Mustafa Mir

 

Mir emphasises on youth to uphold personal integrity

Srinagar, April, 15: Patron J&K Peoples’ Movement, Javed Mustafa Mir underscored the need to imbibe humanitarian and moral values among the youth for cleansing the society from prevailing evils.
He said service to humanity is the real form to worship.
Javed Mustafa was speaking at an impressive function organised by the Khalsa Aid Society, to present him this years Award of Honesty, on the eve of reverred religious festival of Sikh brethren, Baisakhi-

Pertinently, Javed Mustafa is the first politician to get award from Khalisa Aid for his honesty, devotional service and humanitarian nature.
Javed Mir while eulogising the selfless humanitarian service being rendered by the Khalsa Aid assured it full support of the JKPM in eradicating evils, inculcating moral values and espousing the humanitarian cause. “Prevailing moral degradation is eating vitals of the society, ” Mir said and added that “need of the hour is to imbibe humanitarian spirit and moral values among the masses with much focus on youth to develop a sound society.”
He also urged for teaching moral and religious education alongside modern sciences in all educational institutions to weed out social evils.
Javed Mustafa is the one among few politicians known for his honesty and uprightness and has become the first politician to get Honesty Award from the Khalsa Aid Society.
