Kashmir’s Pain is My Personal Pain: Rahul Gandhi

Srinagar 22 August(KNB): Rahul Gandhi, addressing Congress workers in Srinagar, expressed his deep empathy for the suffering of the Kashmiri people, stating that their pain is not just a political issue, but a personal one for him.

Gandhi acknowledged the sacrifices made by Congress workers and leaders, saying, “You have given your lives to the party, and I know how much you have suffered.” He assured them that any alliance will be formed with respect for the workers and leaders, prioritizing their dignity.

In a veiled reference to the India Alliance and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gandhi said, “We broke his self-confidence in the parliament elections.” He told the workers, “When you need us, we are ready.”

Gandhi also reached out to the youth of Kashmir, saying, “We will break the hatred with love.” His message emphasized the need for compassion and understanding in addressing the region’s challenges.

The Congress leader’s visit to Srinagar aimed to strengthen party ties and reassure workers of his commitment to their welfare and the region’s development.(KNB)
