Srinagar, May 09 (KNB): In a clear-cut case of gross discrimination against the students of Kashmir, ICL Group of Colleges Soutali Shahzadpur Naringarh Ambala Haryana under Kurukshetra University are alleging that they are facing difficulties due to callous administration on several counts .
First and foremost, the Kashmiri students were in a weird manner charged Rs 350 for repairing the cooler, and not given due facilities.
The rot did not stop here as the students from Kashmir are told that the money due to them via scholarship is being asked to surrender and also the security deposit of rs 1800 not given .
A student, while pleading anonymity – “We are facing hell due to the heartless approach of the administration. Our money in form of scholarships is being snatched from us and pendency’s in lacs shown against us and we are also not easily given our Rs 1800 security deposit back.”
“In the utmost cruel manner we are being told that financial resources of us being deposited via the scholarship mechanism belong to the college fee structure and many of us are barred from attending the exams. This is sheer injustice against us and we appeal the Govt in Jammu and Kashmir to intervene and give us justice.”
In the past few months there have been growing instances of injustice being alleged by the Kashmiri students studying in different parts of the country of diverse natures. (KNB)
