Jammu, Feb 28 (KNB): The Wrestling Association of Jammu and Kashmir will organize the Junior UT Wrestling Championship 2026 at the University of Jammu on March 7.
The championship is being conducted in collaboration with the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, under the auspices of the Wrestling Federation of IndiaJ&K Sports Council and the J&K Olympic Association.
The tournament will feature junior wrestlers in the Under-20 category, with competitors born between 2006 and 2008, and eligible participants from 2009. All athletes are required to report to the venue at 8 am with valid medical and parental certificates, along with photocopies of Aadhaar card and birth certificate.
Winners in each weight category will earn the honour of representing Jammu and Kashmir at the U-20 National Wrestling Championship scheduled to be held at Durg from April 10 to 12, 2026.
