Srinagar, Mar 21 (KNB): The members of Jammu and Kashmir Young Journalist Association (JKYJA) have expressed heartfelt condolences over the sad demise of veteran journalist author and poet and Editor daily Buland Kashmir Maqbool Sahil who died in a mishap near Lal Bazaar in Srinagar on Tuesday evening.
A spokesman of JKYJA in a statement to media has said the untimely and sudden demise of Mr. Maqbool Ahmad Khan aka Maqbool Sahil has created a vacuum in the media fraternity, adding, late Sahil sahib was known for his down to earth nature.
He said his contribution in literature will continue to enlighten the coming generations.
The JKYJA in a bid to pay tributes to late Maqbool Sahil held a condolence meeting at its office wherein prayers were made for his eternal peace and solidarity with the bereaved family. (KNB)
