Srinagar 26 February (KNB): 10th class annual results were declared on Friday by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) after lots of speculations about its announcement earlier this month.
In the 10th class result, 75 percent of students have been declared passed. While the pass percentage of students belonging to Kashmir’s different districts was recorded as — Pulwama 84.25, Anantnag 71.30, Bandipora 61.52, Baramulla 71.54, Budgam 75.87, Ganderbal 64.32, Kulgam 78.84, Kupwara 72.19, Shopian 88.20 and Srinagar 80.70.
The total number of students, as per JKBOSE, who appeared in the 10th class examination was 75,132. However, 74.04 percent of boys and 76.09 percent of girls passed in the annual 10th class examination.
Pertinently, Jammu Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) also congratulated passed students and toppers via twitter and said, “Party President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah congratulate the students who scored the top ranks in class 10 examination results declared today and to all the successful ones.”
However, there are some government schools from different districts of Kashmir which have secured zero percent in the 10 class results. (KNB)
