Baramulla, 20 October (KNB): A delegation from the JK Teachers Association District Baramulla, led by Provincial President Ishfaq Ahmad Shah and district president Altaf Hussain Bhat met with District Development Commissioner (DDC) Chairperson Safina Baigh to discuss various issues related to the education sector in the district.
The delegation, which included prominent members like Avtar Krishna, Rafeeq Ahmad Lone, Mushtaq Ah Bhat and Farooq Ah Dar, presented a brief introduction of their organization and highlighted the steps and measures taken by the JK Teachers Association to combat social issues within the community.
The delegation also commended the dedication and exceptional qualities of Safina Baigh in serving the public of District Baramulla. They expressed their full support for the DDC Chairperson in her efforts to improve the quality of education and advance the development of the district.
DDC Chairperson Safina Baigh expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome and reassured her commitment to enhancing the education sector.
During the meeting, the delegation also extended their appreciation to Balbir Singh Raina, the Chief Education Officer (CEO) of Baramulla, for addressing the time-bound promotion issue of Reduced Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers (RRTs).
The delegation included representatives from various Zonal presidents (ZPs) such as Nehalpora, Fategarh, Chandoosa, Uri, Chandanwari, Pattan, Baramulla, Dangerpora, Singhpora K, Rohama, Wagoora, and many teachers from the region.- KNB
