Srinagar 04 Feb(KNB): J&K Awami Aawaz Party has lambasted the anti Islamic remarks of Social activist Yana Mirchandani.
In a statement issued to news gathering agency KNB, J&K Awami Aawaz Party stated that Yana Mirchandani claims herself an activist, while protesting against the acid throwing incident in Srinagar, had stated “women has every right to opt for divorce, to break the engagement and even to have a boyfriend even after the marriage, and these remarks are totally unislamic and can harm the peace and law and order situation.
Suhail Ahmad Khan, J&K Awami Aawaz Party President made it clear that religion of Islam is very dear to all of us and in the garb of criminal acid attack we won’t allow so called activists hurt the religious sentiments of masses.
Khan praised the Civil society, political and social class , public raising a united voice against this heinous crime.
J&K Awami Aawaz Party hoped that Yana Mirchandani would ask for forgiveness from all the masses of Kashmir over her nonsense remarks.(KNB)
