Srinagar, 27 April (KNB): The School Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir released a statement asserting that no objectionable content is present in textbooks prescribed by the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE), which are developed in collaboration with the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).
The statement read, “There is some objectionable content being circulated on social media purportedly from a book. However, upon verification, it has been confirmed that no such content is included in textbooks prescribed and developed by JKBOSE. Additionally, NCERT has not developed any book containing such content, nor has it been prescribed in any schools in Jammu and Kashmir.”
It also stated that it is actively investigating the source of the video to enable law enforcement authorities to take necessary action.
Meanwhile, it has come to light that a book titled “That’s Right,” published by Acuber Books International Meerut, allegedly contains misinformation about the esteemed leader of Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini. Imam Khomeini holds significant reverence as a morally, religiously and politically influential Muslim leader.-KNB
