Jammu 16 April (KNB): The Government informed that 1144 new positive cases of novel Corona virus were reported in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
Officials stated that out of 1144 new cases, 414 were reported from Jammu division and 730 from Kashmir division.
So far the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir has reached to 144021.
Officials further stated that Two COVID-19 deaths were reported i.e 1 from Jammu Division and 1 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, as per the statement issued to Kashmir News Bureau, 562 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 161 from Jammu Division and 401 from Kashmir Division.
As per the officials, out of 144021 positive cases, 10620 are Active Positive, 131353 have recovered and 2048 have died; 759 in Jammu division and 1289 in Kashmir division. (KNB)
