Srinagar 08 October (KNB): India has reported 21,257 new cases of Covid19, with 271 covid fatalities during the last 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
As per the ministry, a total of 3,32,25,221 covid patients have recovered so far in the country and 24,963 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours across India.
“The active caseload of the country currently stands at 2,40,221, which is the lowest in 205 days and constitutes 0.71 percent of total cases,” said the MoHFW.
It further said that the daily positivity rate at present is 1.53 percent, a figure less than three percent for the last 39 days. “Weekly Positivity Rate remains 1.64 percent, which is less than 3% for the last 105 days,” it added.
The ministry further said that 93.17 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and 58.00 Cr total tests conducted so far throughout the country. (KNB)
