Kulgam 18 March(KNB): Security forces in Kulgam district, detected an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in the Qaimoh area on Monday.
According to a top police officer, the IED was discovered by a joint team of police and security forces, who summoned a Bomb Disposal Squad to dispose off.
As a precautionary measure, the area has been cordoned off by the forces.
This incident comes after a similar detection and defusal of an IED in Kulgam district last year, where security forces successfully neutralized the threat, preventing any damage or casualties.(KNB)
