Srinagar 17 April (KNB): Residents of HMT area of Srinagar district blamed the PDD Department of the careless approach in performing the duty and functions related to the transmission and distribution of electricity in Srinagar city.
They alleged that the department is making the lame excuses of the code of conduct to delay the installation of the poles and the transmission lines in the outskirts of the Srinagar city.
Due to the lackadaisical approach of the department the immense resentment is brewing among the residents of the various areas like Kawoosa lane and other adjourning areas against the PDD Department.
Talking to Kashmir News Bureau Mohd Ismail said “When we went to the concerned AEE with our genuine, he made the excuse of the code of conduct for the delay in installation of the transmission line and 250 KV transformer in the area which has been our long pending demand.
Despite the various efforts by Kashmir News Bureau to contact the concerned officials, but were not able establish contact. (KNB)
