Srinagar 15 June (KNB): Haj Committee of India (HCI) on Tuesday said that all the applications for Hajj this year have been cancelled.
The circular issued by HCI, undersigned by Dr Maqsood Ahmad Khan Chief Executive Officer reads that the Ministry of Haj and Umrah, Kingdom of Saudia Arabia issued a statement informing that due to the Coronavirus pandemic conditions “The Kingdom of Saudia Arabia has decided that to allow residents and inside the kingdom of Saudia Arabia only to attend Haj 1442 in limited numbers International Haj has been cancelled.”
It further said that the Haj Committee of India has cancelled all the applications for Haj 2021. (KNB)
