SRINAGAR, JUNE 22(KNB):As the annual Hajj-2024 concluded earlier this week, the first batch of pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir landed at Srinagar International Airport on Saturday evening. A total of 320 pilgrims from the region returned from the Haj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.
The Executive Officer of the J&K Haj Committee, Dr. Shujahat Qureshi, confirmed their safe arrival. Upon completing necessary formalities, including immigration, the Hajjis will proceed directly to their homes. This year, over 7,000 pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir undertook the Hajj journey to Mecca and Madina.
The J&K Hajj Committee has already issued the return flight schedule up to June 29, with two flights scheduled for June 23 at 11:50 AM and 4:25 PM.(KNB)
