Baramulla 23 January(KNB):An encounter is underway between militants and the government forces in Binner area of the outskirts of Baramulla.
Sources told KNB that a joint team of Army’s 46RR, Police and CRPF on specific information about the presence of some militants cordoned off Binner and it’s adjoining area.
As soon as government forces zeroed on to the suspected area, the hiding militants fired upon government forces triggering an encounter.
Till this report was filed intermittent exchange firing was going on.(KNB)
