Government’s Swift Action brings Relief to J&K private Healthcare Sector: Association Expresses Gratitude to the government and State Health Agency

Srinagar 21 Nov(KNB): The Jammu & Kashmir Private Hospitals and Dialysis Centres Association extend their heartfelt appreciation to Honorable Health Minister Ms. Sakeena Masood and Cheif Secretary Shri Atal Dulloo and Secretary H&ME Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah for their assurance to release pending payments under Ayushmaan Bharat scheme to private healthcare providers.

President of the Association Faizan Mir said, “The commitment of clearing outstanding dues will bring significant relief to healthcare institutions, enabling them to continue providing quality services to the community.The State Health Agency has also enhanced it’s staff strength to process our cases within the stipulated time.We have sailed through the tough times jointly since March 15 with the State Health Agency and Administration and are committed to the success of the scheme.The government has always rendered the support whenever needed.

Dr Masood ul Hassan General Secretary of the association said, “We acknowledge the efforts of the government in addressing the concerns of the healthcare sector and look forward to timely payment disbursal of the pending dues of Ayushmaan Bharat scheme.This commitment will greatly benefit healthcare institutions and ensure continued quality services”.

The association further said the CEO of the SEHAT/Ayushmaan Bharat Scheme who is presently out of the station on official duty has assured that he will hold meeting with all the stake holders threadbare discussions regarding bio auth, rejections & deductions and 0.1 percent late payment dues will be done once he resumes duties in J&K.(KNB)
