Government Higher Secondary School Panzan celebrates World Earth Day

Srinagar 22 April (KNB): Government Higher Secondary School Panzan on Friday celebrated “World Earth Day” along with students.

In a statement issued to news agency Kashmir News Bureau- KNB, that, a step towards inspiring, educating, and motivating children to act, a special assembly was held on 22nd April 2022 by the students of GHSS Panzan to celebrate Earth Day.

The celebration helped students to understand the importance of plantation and how to keep environment clean for making active progress to restore our earth’s natural ecosystems. The message of the assembly was beautifully manifested through thoughts, Rally cleanliness drive and chart making.

Various activities were organised for students such as nature education, Awareness rally, Cleanliness drive and painting competition so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. The students got inspired to save, love, and respect Mother Nature with all their hearts and soul, statement added

On this occasion, Mr Mohammad Maqbool Incharge Principal , lecturer Botany Abdul Majid, lecturer Firdoud Ahmed and Vocational Trainer Akhter Ali highlighted and appreciated the performance of the students for their all type support, coordination and cooperation in every aspect with special focus on cleanliness at work culture.

While mentioning role of team members, Mr Imtiyaz Mr Mohammed Afzal presented warm vote of thanks to all the participants and speakers for wonderful contributions and commitments on this special day.(KNB)
