Bandipora, Feb 25(KNB):Government forces on Monday morning launched a cordon and search operation in Gujjarpati Chuntimylla area of Sumlar in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district and launched a search operation.
Official sources told KNB that Army’s 14 Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched the operation in the village after inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
The searches were going on when this report was being filed.
Earlier, a CASO was also launched at Mir Mohalla Hajin in the Bandipora district which ended later.(KNB)
