Shopian 18 May(KNB): A former Sarpanch, Aijaz Ahmad was shot dead by militants in the Hurpura area south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday evening, officials said.
According to reports reaching to news agency KashmirNewsBureau-KNB that, unidentified gunmen opened fire on Sheikh, critically injuring him.
He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead.(KNB)
