Baramulla 23 January(KNB): Acting on a tip off about the presence of militants in the area a cordon and search operation was launched in Fidarpora village of Rafiabad in North Kashmir’s Baramulla District.
Army officials said that 32 RR of Indian Army and Special Operation Group of J&K Police and 92 bn of crpf had launched a joint cordon and search operation in Fidarpora village in north Kashmir’s Rafiabad after an input about the presence and movement of militants in the area.
The search operation continued for hours while no contact was established with militants during the CASO.
Meanwhile officials in Army confirmed to Kashmir News Bureau that search operation was called off peacefully as no militant was found in the area.(KNB)
