Budgam, March 16(KNB): A massive cordon and search operation was launched by Government forces in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday.
As per the reports, a joint team of security forces including the contingents of Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Central Reserve Police Forces cordoned off Poshker village in the wee hours on Saturday.
The search operation was launched after inputs about the presence of militants in the village.
The government forces conducted door-to-door searches in the area and sealed all entry and exit points leading to the area.
