Feeling of ‘Aazadi’ inside SKICC, as officials allowed to sang Kashmiri anthem

Srinagar, May 07 (KNB): Amid massive bloodshed the premier event place of Valley Sher e Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) located on the banks of world famous Dal Lake today witnessed unprecedented scenes when “Lehra Aey Kashmir Ke Jhandey,” the Kashmiri Anthem was played, and all stood up to pay respect.
A participant, while talking to the Kashmir News Bureau stated – “We appreciate the manner in which SKICC admin has finally paved away to respect the emotional sentiments of Kashmir by allowing the pro Kashmir resistance songs and anthems to be played in such cordial way. We hope more pro resistance activities are given a free license so that we move in right direction.”
Ghalib Mohi-ud-din, Managing Director, Golf Development and Management Authority now holds the additional charge of director SKICC seems to be taking SKICC to new route of freedom of speech.
Pertinently, Lehra Ae Kashmir Ke Jande” was written by Moulana Massodi, to honour the flag, and sentiments of masses of Kashmir and now with premier event hosting centre of Kashmir giving it space we look to be heading towards exciting times.
When contacted the Director SKICC he put phone to General Manager’s hand and had nothing to say. (KNB)
