Srinagar,September 30 (KNB): Encounter raged in Pattan area of Baramulla and chitragam area of Shopian in the wee hours of morning on Friday, Officials said.
Encounter has started between millitants and Government security agencies here in North Kashmir’s Yadipora area of pattan of Baramulla district and chitragam area of South kashmir’s shopian district during morning hours of Friday.
“Millitants fired upon the security personnels, for which police and crpf retailated, triggering encounter, official said.
As per police official, Police and other Govt security agencies launched a search and cardon operation in the Yadipora area of pattan and chitragam area of shopian ,during searches millitants fired upon the security forces and in retailation, triggered an encounter.
