Pulwama 14 July (KNB): An encounter between militants and government security forces has started in Pulwama Town.
Officials said that on specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area, a cordon and search operation was launched by a joint team of security forces.
Upon reaching the suspected spot, militants opened fire towards the searching party and the encounter ensued, officials added.
Officials further said that the operation is on and further details will follow. (KNB)
