Shopian 25 June(KNB): An encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Shirmal Village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday, Police officials said.
According to reports reaching to news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB that on a specific information about the presence of militants in the Shirmal area of Shopian, security forces launch cordon and search operation.
They said, Hiding militants fired upon the searching party which was retaliated and triggering an encounter.
