Baramulah, March 21(KNB) : An encounter broke out between militants and the government forces in Kandi area of Kalantra in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday morning.
As per the reports, the joint team of police and army’s 29 RR had launched a cordon and search operation in the area after inputs about the presence of militants hiding in the area yesterday evening.
The search operation was suspended late Wednesday evening in wake of darkness amid bad weather in the area.
However, talking to KNB, SSP Baramulla Confirmed Encounter and said, Police, Army and CRPF is on job .(KNB)
