Lt Governor Sh Manoj Sinha Hails PM Modi’s Vision for Empowering J&K Youth
Srinagar 20 June(KNB): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha expressed his gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi for inaugurating the ‘Empowering Youth, Transforming J&K’ program and dedicating critical projects in water, roadways, health, agriculture, and more.
The Lt Governor highlighted the administration’s efforts to empower youth with skills for a developed India (Viksit Bharat) under PM Modi’s guidance. He emphasized that higher education institutions and government agencies are providing necessary resources, opportunities, and support to unlock the potential of young people and contribute to nation-building.
The UT administration has launched various initiatives focused on skill development, innovation, research, and start-up support. Notably, over 40,000 youth have been employed in government services in the past four years, showcasing the success of these strategies.
The Lt Governor reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to unlocking the potential of J&K’s youth, enabling them to drive inclusive growth and prosperity in the region.(KNB)
