Srinagar 15 July (KNB): An octogenarian man died in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district after he slipped into the river Jhelum on the morning of Thursday.
As per reports, the 80 years old deceased man was performing his ablution in the morning during which he slipped into the Jhelum river.
The deceased has been identified as Ghulam Mohammad, a resident of Bandipora Hajin’s Banger Mohalla.
However, following the incident the body of the deceased was found from the river after locals and police initiated the searches.
Pertinently, the body would be entrusted to his family members after completion of due formalities by the police, as per an official. (KNB)
