Drabu’s Exit: BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav arrives in Jammu

Jammu, Mar 16 (KNB): National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party Ram Madhav on Friday has arrived in state’s winter capital Jammu to held deliberations with party leaders following the ouster of PDP leader Haseeb Drabu from coalition government cabinet.

Earlier, soon after Drabu’s exit the top BJP leadership summoned its senior state leaders to the national capital to discuss the possible repercussions on the alliance and mediate on ways to resolve the situation.

Sources told KNB, that Drabu was considered as one of the important mediator for PDP and BJP ‘unmatched marriage’ and his was dramatic sack from the post of state’s finance minister after his remark that Kashmir is “not a political issue” has rippled the BJP cadre.
The sources added to KNB, that soon after the arrival of Ram Madhav also considered as BJP think tank held threadbare deliberations over the prevailing scenario in state politics following Drabu’s ouster.

Pertinently, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has also called for an important meeting of PDP leaders in summer capital on 17th March. (KNB)
