KUPWARA, 11 Nov(KNB): DIG North Kashmir Range chaired a Crime Review Meeting at DPO Kupwara to review law and order and strengthen investigations.
He assessed crime disposal, progress in UAPA/NDPS cases, recoveries, and property attachments. Key points included monitoring Zero FIRs, FSL visits, SID linking on e-Sakshya, MedLeaPR, e-Court challans, and timely execution of e-Summons.
The meeting also reviewed action under PIT-NDPS, regulation of pharmacies, and hotspot monitoring in NDPS-affected areas. The DIG urged evidence-based investigations, better supervision, and prompt grievance redressal, appreciating Kupwara Police for their efforts.(KNB)
