DGP and GOC visit Handwara, took stock of security situation in North Kashmir

Handwara 24 September (KNB):Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police  Dilbagh Singh IPS and GOC 15 Corps Lt Gen A.K Bhatt today Visited Handwara to take stock of various security related matters.
Duo had a security review meeting with officers of Police , Army and CRPF and during their interaction with officers they stressed on professional Policing and directed security personals for building more people friendly relations with General Public so that law and order will be maintained and problems faced by general public will be solved always at an earliest.
Earlier SP Handwara Ashish Mishra gave a Presentation of general Police activities and measures taken at Handwara.
Later both senior officers interacted with Jawans of Police and army and briefed them regarding various welfare measures and formations which they are planning to implement.
DGP stressed on Jawans to  exercise maximum restraint and  to be more humane while dealing with Public.
 Others who accompanied the two top cops include GOC Kilo Force Maj Gen DP Panday, IG CRPF Zulfikar Ahmed,IGP Kashmir SP Pani,Commander 7 sector DP Rai,COs of 21RR,22RR,30RR,32RR,47RR,CO 92 BN CRPF Deepak Kumar, ASP Handwara Ifroz Ahmed,SDPO Handwara Shabir Khan,DySP DAR Farooq Ahmed ,DySsP operations Tariq Mehmood and Sahil Sharma.(KNB)
