Srinagar 20 March (KNB): Parvez Ahmad Qadri Deputy Mayor, Srinagar
along with several other officers on Saturday, conducted an extensive tour of Solina Samoon Colony, Srinagar to review Civic services provided by Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC).
A statement issued to Kashmir News Bureau said that during the tour, the Deputy Mayor was accompanied by Salman Ali Sagar Corporator Electoral Ward No.18 (Solina) Srinagar Assistant Executive Engineer City Drainage Division, Left River Works Division, Mechanical City Division, Water Works Division Srinagar and other Senior Officers of the Corporation.
The team also reviewed several other different public issues of the area.
Several delegations and representatives of the area (Solina Samoon Colony Srinagar) thanked the Deputy Mayor for the visit and put forth demand for construction of drainage system, desilting of choked drainage & water logging problem before the Deputy Mayor for kind consideration and early redressal.
Qadri gave on spot directions to the drainage & Compost wing of SMC for ensuring cleaning of choked drainage & dewatering of drainage water by today positively.
He also directed concerned Ward Officer for ensuring proper and regular sanitation of the area.
The Concerned Corporator and representatives of the area once again thanked the Deputy Mayor, Srinagar for the visit and also ensured full cooperation with the SMC staff for up keeping of cleanliness in the area. (KNB)
