Srinagar, Jan 21(KNB): Sheikh Imran, Deputy Mayor of Srinagar Municipal Corporation got injured and was shifted to police hospital where he got one stitch after a councillor threw some object at him during councillor session of SMC on Monday.
As per the reports, there was some heated exchange of words during the councillors session at SMC Complex and one of the councillors took some object and threw it at Imran who fell down and was rushed to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the incident was confirmed by a senior police official and a case has been registered.(KNB)
