Punjab, Jan 08(KNB):Surender Kumar, a struggling vendor at a court complex in Jalandhar is in his sea of happiness as his 23 year old daughter takes the position of a Judge in the same sub-divisional magistrate.

Punjab, Surinder has worked as a tea seller all his life. His 23-year-old daughter, Shruti, passed the Punjab Civil Services (Judicial) Examination in the first attempt, and topped in the SC category. After finishing her training at the judicial academy for a year, she is now set to serve as a judge. She completed her graduation from Guru Nanak Dev University, and went on to study law from Punjab University.
A modest girl tells that she was not the only girl that tastes success, there are many others who shined despite financial crisis and hardships.(KNB)
